In the spare parts & accessories department is Ben Mayne.
Ben also has a lifetime of motorcycling experience, and like Sam has been in the industry from a young age. His passion for motorcycling and his knowledge is an asset to Southern Moto.
Ben has a background in motorcycle electrical prior his time working as a parts interpreter. He has raced motorcycles his whole life and has knowledge across all areas of the trade.
Ben also competes on a sidecar against Sam in the South Australian Reliability Trials series. A bit of healthy competition is enjoyed in the workplace.

Sam & Ben may be relatively young, however they offer combined experience of over 25 years in the motorcycle trade.

Southern Moto was established in 2021 by Victor Harbor local Sam Hutchesson.
Sam has 15 years trade experience and a lifetime of riding & racing motorcycles. Growing up on a farm he enjoyed hands on work and performing maintenance on his own bikes. He progressed into the motorcycle industry and completed his trade as a technician at Victor Motorcycles. He has experience in all facets of motorcycling such as road, off road and agriculture, spanning across a multitude of makes & models. Racing has also been a large part of Sam's life and has gained valuable experience throughout many years of competition.

Zach Galpin, 3rd apprentice motorcycle technician.

Zach joined the team in 2022 as a casual employee and commenced his apprenticeship soon after. He is an honest local farm lad who has grown up riding dirt bikes, quad
bikes, or anything with wheels. His willingness to learn and
hands on skills have made him an integral part of the team at Southern Moto. You can trust Zach to put in 100% on every job he's given.
